BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I have to say the challenge was not as hard as I thought it would be I did have a little trouble adjusting to not watching TV or talking on the Phone while eating and when I started to do it I caught myself it really is a bad habit.  I guess I have the same thing as a bad smoker would have. The challenge I liked the most was the Nature Walk I rarely walk outside unless I'm on vacation.I go and get on the treadmill at the gym lol it was different. I was honest the whole time If I didn't do something that day I didn't click it. I don't know how long your systems website will be up and running but I would like to use this as a guide line for further education and practice.  njoyed being apart of the Ecochallenge.

First of all by taking part in to Eco Challenge I have found myself as a real positive human being.  I am practicing the habits which I have taken as Eco Challenges. My life is going to a new direction. Every morning when I wake up feel good and inspired. I feel like I am a part of nature.

I lost something on my way to my goal, but its okay. Because I lost some weights, driving on my bike to work, 18 miles every day and I'm still loosing weights and I'm feeling so good. Next thing is to get an electric bycycle, so I can go the 18 miles to work and 18 miles back home again, after work. Another good thing is that my lungs is getting better but its not perfect, I'm still close to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary.

Ridíng my bycyle is saving money and gasoline and I might live a little longer :-)

    Hello Team!
I just wanted to give a final congratulations to all of you on the EcoChallenge. Out of over 600 teams we managed to take 2nd place! That's something we should all be proud of. :) And it all came a desire to make our communities, our lives, and the world a better place. Together we actually made an impact through our actions. I will be doing the EcoChallenge in years to come and I hope many of you will join!
For those of you who have won awards please respond to this email with the award and I'll take care of it this week!

I'm very proud of you all and look forward to continuing to making positive changes together!

Also, I have added each of you to my personal newsletter that goes out about once per month so that you can stay involved! If you don't want to be a part of my newsletter just let me know.

    Best,
    Rob

Hi, "Congratulations"! It's a big big good news for me! You have become my hero! After joining your EcoChallenge team I have started walking to my work place again. First I walk towards the bus stop, take bus then after half an hour Gt down from the bus and I take  a walk at least for 15 minutes. But soon time will get longer. Thank you very much for accepting as one of your members. Our team won 2nd place ,feeling awesome!

I can't eat that many fruits and veggies.  In fact, at age 66 I barely eat 2 meals a day.  However, I am very healthy.  Today, I took four bags of a friend's paper products and put it all into my recycle bin.  The one thing I wish would have been focused on more is OVERPOPULATION.  Can you add that topic top future projects/challenges?  I also wish more cities would put the homeless to work cleaning up litter, sorting it and recycling.  I know Albuquerque has one such program and it looks like it is very successful.   Companies need to CUT DOWN on packaging waste--it is horrendous--and bottled water must come to an end unless there are dire emergencies.  I didn't complete all of my challenges but I am determined to get my two-weeks worth of three happy things done.

I started off very over eager, with too many challenges, not too hard, just too many.  I think I did well, but didn't check in daily which made it a little more difficult.  Will definitely learn from this one to improve for the next challenge.
