Amy Villanueva 10/25/2017 10:18 PMBTWs Presidio - we are a small team that packs a mighty eco-challenge punch! We beat #2 in per capita points with an average of 117 points each! Yeah! -
Amy Villanueva 10/25/2017 10:14 PMDamn - two weeks flies! Thank you EcoChallenge for challenging me again to think 14x about the every day things I can do to make a difference. -
Thea Hutchinson 10/25/2017 9:59 PMI was having a little low-blood sugar moment this afternoon and was thankful that I packed some fresh strawberries as a snack. -
Scott Pennington 10/25/2017 9:32 PMMy daily efforts to get more sleep led to a greater awareness of its importance, which prompted my to prioritize early sleep and no alarm clock on the penultimate day of the challenge. Result? 13 hours of sleep!! I felt the best, by far, on the last day of this year's Eco-Challenge after all that wonderful rest. -
Tegan Molloy 10/25/2017 9:30 PMWhat a fun and fulfilling couple of weeks. I'm super motivated to continue carrying out the little things that make all the difference. Can't wait for next year's EcoChallenge! And thank you, Shawna for organizing a group tour of a waste & recycling facility! -
Shawna Cain 10/25/2017 9:06 PMThis has been fun - thanks Tegan for organizing. Go team Presidio! -
Shawna Cain 10/24/2017 8:09 PMMy goal of not buying anything but food has saved me $130! -
Thea Hutchinson 10/22/2017 11:45 AMI didn't think I was going to be able to get my 60 min of physical activity yesterday as I was in the bridal party of a big wedding! Little did I know that we would dance for almost 2 hours. -
Tegan Molloy 10/20/2017 8:13 PMToday I scoffed at the clouds and rain ("I MUST fulfill my EcoChallenge!") and spearheaded a long autumn walk through Mt. Tabor Park with my family. While meandering on a path, we discovered a stunning old grove of Hawthorne trees! Apparently the leaves and berries are medicinal. . . good for heart health! -
Amy Villanueva 10/19/2017 10:27 PMWith fall weather roaring in I took the opportunity to clean out the closet of summer gear and winter clothes I don't need to hold on to any longer.
