What a fun and fulfilling couple of weeks. I'm super motivated to continue carrying out the little things that make all the difference. Can't wait for next year's EcoChallenge! And thank you, Shawna for organizing a group tour of a waste & recycling facility!

Today I scoffed at the clouds and rain ("I MUST fulfill my EcoChallenge!") and spearheaded a long autumn walk through Mt. Tabor Park with my family. While meandering on a path, we discovered a stunning old grove of Hawthorne trees! Apparently the leaves and berries are medicinal. . . good for heart health!

As soon as I signed up for the challenge I began changing my behavior to support the daily challenge I'd set. Making a conscious effort to spend time outdoors has already significantly improved my mood, focus, energy and inner peace. Looking forward to the official start tomorrow, and the one-time challenges as well!
