Amelia Street Beat the Heat Team

I realized today that my employer has no ‘green’ policy and is a major source of waste in my community.  We need a corporate-level challenge!

It's been gross outside, but I've still managed to walk my dog for at least 20 minutes the last couple days. I've also spent free time hand making our halloween costumes from all re-used, upcycled materials, so I feel like I should get some bonus points for that! :)

Challenge is going great!   Still on fire!

I've made some changes that I plan to continue...this has been great

We've been at a two day conference in Dallas and going outside has actually not been that hard. We had plenty of opportunities to be outside and enjoy the texas weather. We had a whole session out there as a group. And enjoyed some popsicles outside

I've been wanting to keep a gratitude journal for a long time.  This has got me started and I'm grateful for that!

One of my challenges is to watch a documentary about food. Any suggestions???

Driving my car down a tree-lined street probably doesn't count as three minutes in nature...0K ... I won't count t that.  

Beautiful fall day for a walk with Squash. I like the challenge of sending nice messages to people. It gives me a reason to connect with people who I haven't talked to in a while. 

(Definitely not missing red meat... I could get used to this.)
