N0W (Nearly ZER0 Watts) Challenge -- can you minimize your energy consumption when you depart your work-space?

We must work together and educate from kindergarten level to tell our next generation to conserve natural resources.  We are not born to consume but to produce things that would make the world and environment sustainable.  I think the world is still not getting the message.  It is not the profit that the individual/company should make.  Everyone should work and earn their living based on one purpose: protecting the environment. 

Added a weather-aware Internet-connected lawn sprinkler controller. It estimates savings over this past year of 323,399 gallons of water in skipped watering cycles based on the mid-summer baseline. Water cycles are skipped due to past and future rain plus reduced temperature, sun, and wind-based evaporation versus the baseline.

The MHDC Green Team and Site services collaborated together to get rid of the Keurig machines to switch to a more environmentally friendly Mars Alterra system for coffee and tea.  The Alterra packets save 20% packaging over Keurig cups, and are fully recyclable!  Mars Drinks also has a sustainability plan to reduce greenhouse gases, water use and waste.
