      FYI - I don't have children, I'm happily single for many years, work for myself, I am a dog walker, this has all been pretty easy for me, I have a lot more free time than most. You did a great job and its awesome that so many people came together to do this.... I chat you up on FB...

    Ooo, in the lead again :) hehee.  I am going to ask the people I invited to join, to do so if they have not already, if only for the last few days... every little helps of course :) some of them have already been inspired by the kind of challenges being done.  Its been very thought provoking too :)

    I have stopped shaving my legs in the shower.  I can shave them afterwards with the water I collect and when the kids aren't here I can keep that there to flush the loo with.

      i'd like to try using the gray water this way as well.
      do you pour it directly into the bowl or into the tank?

    Very pleased with my local, plastic-free food shopping today. Not all organic but totally meat-free.  Plus we've walked to school a couple of times this week, so we've had extra exercise too...  very happy with our eco efforts :)

      OH Big YAY ~ Meat Free !!! I've been a Vegan for 7 years... It warms my heart when I hear "MEAT FREE" for so many reasons ! Each day you have an animal free diet you save about 1,278 gallons of water... 
      Let that sink in... You made a huge difference !!! Way to GO !!!

    Its SO frustrating when you can't do any food shopping without getting some form of plastic! Trying to get my first organic food box ordered before bed time.  I should have done this a long time ago... can't wait to have healthy food without the plastic packaging #singleuseplasticsucks

      Yes you can shop without plastic, it just takes some work and a few arguments with the people at the grocery store.... hahahaha.... I am lucky, I'm 2 blocks from a whole foods... Hit me up if you want some advise..

      I think plastic (and hydrocarbons) will be for us like lead was to the Roman empire....
