    Just back from a week out of town, so I am excited to get to my ecochallenge!

    We did our swale cleanup through the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services Adopt-a-Swale program and noticed some deficiencies in drainage that we will notify the city of, drainages that are not occurring correctly and affecting bike lanes. This is at SE Water and SE Clay Streets.

    There's a challenge in the waste category that is about reducing junk mail.  There's a link to a service online where you can cancel catalogues, which is free.  If you sign up for that challenge and cancel catalogues you don't want to receive anymore, it's a one time action worth 50 points.  It was pretty easy to do!

    I'm finding the three meals a day free from processed foods to be challenging.  Today, for example, my lunch included TVP.  I guess that's processed and so I didn't get it today.
