October 26 at 6:09 AMTaking care of the earth is a daily challenge.

October 25 at 1:14 PMI was not able to complete all my challenges every day, and I wasn't able to fulfill my one-time challenge. :-( However, I did donate some $$ to NWEI, which I try to do every year, so I did manage to accrue some extra points. :-)

October 25 at 12:47 PMLooking forward to putting all the sustainable challenges into more daily sustainable habits for the rest of the year until we come together again during the next 2018 Ecological Challenge to add even more. Thank you.

October 25 at 11:46 AMShipped 22 lbs of dental care product packaging, 8 lb of Brita Filters, and 16 pounds of wine corks today - all collected at the Farmers Market this season. That's about 45 lbs of waste going to make new products instead of being sent to a landfill. And... my basement is a lot less cluttered!

October 25 at 9:38 AMI can still multi-task and stay green, right?
-
October 25 at 9:31 AMI was a bit short-sighted in selecting one of my challenges because I forgot I was going on vacation for a week. It is hard to de-clutter and clean my house when 1,000 miles away. Oops. But I did get a lot of walking in. Here is a picture I took of a Little Blue Heron at the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge in Sanibel, Florida.
