Denny Phillips 10/25/2017 2:33 PMI learned that I want to keep going for the rest of the year with my own family and see if I or my wife is the most eco-friendly. Is there a way to do that on a smaller scale?-
Sarah Steele 10/25/2017 2:40 PMI found this! https://www.oroeco.com/ I would like to do the same, and not sure the best way to track it (I wish the EcoChallenge had an extension feature). I haven't tried the app, but it might be a good start?

Anthony Sheculski 10/25/2017 1:25 PMPlans for high-speed rail in SouthWestern Ontario are still in progress. Who else would travel more if they could get across the province faster? -
Anthony Sheculski 10/25/2017 12:26 PMPublic transit is the best alternative when walking or cycling isn't feasible, and I love it!
For the past 10 years, I've chosen to live and work in areas serviced by public transit. Currently, my commute is 30 minutes door-to-door on the Toronto subway. Sure, there are sometimes delays and it is sometimes crowded, but my only alternative would be to drive. The cost of rent prevents me from living any closer to my workplace, while traffic jams and paying for parking makes driving annoying.
During my commutes, I'll read books, browse the internet, watch movies or listen to music, answer emails, make plans with friends, and sometimes I'll even take a nap! Not to mention, there is no need to drive if friends or colleagues want to have a few pints after work ;)

Jessica Zahn 10/25/2017 1:44 PMThose are my favorite things about public transit as well! Nice to be able to make it part of your lifestyle. :-)
