Waterleaf Architecture Feed

BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I remember watching 'An Inconvenient Truth' - in a theater, mind you - and being frustrated that there seemed to be only problems presented, not solutions that I might perform to become an active member of the eco-movement in some small way. Thank you NW Earth Institute for giving me small tools and habits that I can enact every day in a user-friendly and manageable format!

Picked our family's pumpkins at the farm today!  Great nature activity.

Lunchtime walks have been a nice break in the day and I've really enjoyed seeing the leaves change.

Started my day with a nature hike to celebrate the last day of the eco-challenge! Marquam trail is beautiful this time of year.

The EcoChallenge has been fun! Hopefully many of these new habits and the awareness of some of my actions will stick with me.  Looking forward to participating again next time.

Checking social media no more than once a day has been easier than I thought - comforting to know I don't have a problem (yet). I'd be curious to know the American average...

Watched Gasland' and 'Cowspiracy' eco-docs last weekend, and I must say I can only recommend one of the two! 'Cowspiracy' was a huge disappointment in terms of the quality of information and  reporting, even though it made me begin to consider a vegetarian lifestyle...
