October 25 at 6:43 PMWow, last day of the EcoChallenge! I am so proud of everyone who contributed to this amazing venture. We gave back to the environment in a major way. Everyone share what you've learned and what you will make a permanent change!

October 25 at 3:26 PMMy final action today was to donate to Carbonfund.org as a way of purchasing a carbon offset for a flight I'll be taking in December. I've been thinking about doing this and participating in the EcoChallenge gave me the nudge to actually do it. While carbon offsets are not a panacea, its better than doing nothing. October 23 at 6:40 AMWho else is jazzed about the impact we have made? Small campuses can make huge differences :)

October 20 at 1:07 PMI bought a reusable water bottle a while back and it’s all I use, one of the best decisions I could have made considering it’s cutting back on my own personal waste of plastics and such.
-
October 19 at 1:31 PMIm excited to start this EcoChallenge and not only help improve my life, but the environment as well!
-
October 17 at 2:53 PMI really enjoyed walking today to campus as compared to driving and it was a really nice day as well. It felt good to walk and not use gas that emits CO2 and such.
-
October 17 at 1:55 PMI bought a metal water bottle that is double insulated. It's lightweight, relatively easy to pack, and keeps things the preferred temperature for hours. This one $13 purchase will save countless disposable cups from a landfill.
-
October 16 at 2:36 PMIt may be a little difficult to do a few of these challenges, but knowing that what I’m doing has a positive impact makes it a whole lot easier.
