Sara Walley 10/25/2017 6:43 PMWow, last day of the EcoChallenge! I am so proud of everyone who contributed to this amazing venture. We gave back to the environment in a major way. Everyone share what you've learned and what you will make a permanent change! -
Kelly Wacker 10/25/2017 3:26 PMMy final action today was to donate to Carbonfund.org as a way of purchasing a carbon offset for a flight I'll be taking in December. I've been thinking about doing this and participating in the EcoChallenge gave me the nudge to actually do it. While carbon offsets are not a panacea, its better than doing nothing. I wish that all airlines offered a carbon offset fee that you could choose when purchasing your ticket.-
Rebecca Snook 10/25/2017 4:15 PMThat is a very good idea! With all the other fees they tack on, I'm sure this one wouldn't increase the prices too much:)

Sara Walley 10/23/2017 6:40 AMWho else is jazzed about the impact we have made? Small campuses can make huge differences :) -
Sara Walley 10/23/2017 6:32 AMIn these final days of the EcoChallenge, don't forget that winning is no the entire goal. The point of this is to learn more about how your everyday actions effect the world around us. This challenge helps us reevaluate how we treat our home and how, in the future, we can make more permanent life changes. -
Barbara Brande 10/21/2017 12:37 PMbetter food choices is becoming a habit (even if checking in here isn't yet becoming one) -
Sierra Bobo 10/20/2017 1:07 PMI bought a reusable water bottle a while back and it’s all I use, one of the best decisions I could have made considering it’s cutting back on my own personal waste of plastics and such. -
Hunter Watson 10/19/2017 1:31 PMIm excited to start this EcoChallenge and not only help improve my life, but the environment as well! -
Sierra Bobo 10/17/2017 2:53 PMI really enjoyed walking today to campus as compared to driving and it was a really nice day as well. It felt good to walk and not use gas that emits CO2 and such. -
Sara Walley 10/17/2017 1:55 PMI bought a metal water bottle that is double insulated. It's lightweight, relatively easy to pack, and keeps things the preferred temperature for hours. This one $13 purchase will save countless disposable cups from a landfill. -
Sara Walley 10/16/2017 2:36 PMIt may be a little difficult to do a few of these challenges, but knowing that what I’m doing has a positive impact makes it a whole lot easier.
