    Wow, last day of the EcoChallenge! I am so proud of everyone who contributed to this amazing venture. We gave back to the environment in a major way. Everyone share what you've learned and what you will make a permanent change!

    My final action today was to donate to Carbonfund.org as a way of purchasing a carbon offset for a flight I'll be taking in December. I've been thinking about doing this and participating in the EcoChallenge gave me the nudge to actually do it.  While carbon offsets are not a panacea, its better than doing nothing.  I wish that all airlines...

    In these final days of the EcoChallenge, don't forget that winning is no the entire goal. The point of this is to learn more about how your everyday actions effect the world around us. This challenge helps us reevaluate how we treat our home and how, in the future, we can make more permanent life changes.

    I bought a reusable water bottle a while back and it’s all I use, one of the best decisions I could have made considering it’s cutting back on my own personal waste of plastics and such.
