Jaden Cordelli 10/24/2017 4:49 PMToday my mom and I tried a new recipe that I found in the newspaper for curried butternut squash soup. We made it using the fruits and vegetables my aunt picked up for us from a farmers market, and it turned out delicious! If anyone wants the recipe, just let me know- I would highly recommend trying it! :)-

Oak Creek School 10/23/2017 12:09 PMMy biggest accomplishment thus far in the challenge was writing a letter to several members of our government, including EPA head Scott Pruitt, urging them to put a stop to the Pebble Mine in Bristol Bay, AK. Mr. Pruitt approved the mining project without notifying Congress, so I addressed my letter to 3 other members of government as well in the hope of drawing their attention to this impending environmental and economic disaster. Check out more on this issue at the NRDC website. -
