I found that my challenge was easier to complete than expected. I found myself outside and in nature more often than I thought. This helped me be more conscious about how much time I spend outside.

For the past two weeks I have been taking five minute showers and I feel really good about the amount of water I'm saving!!

All of my challenges have rubbed off onto my friends, specifically my roommate. Seeing me eat more fruits and vegetables with every meal caused my friends to get in line in Whitney with me, positively changing their diet. Every meal I ate without going on my phone or watching TV, which led to more interactions with people.

Over these last 15 days, I've learned that it's the little things that make the differences. For example, I have prevented over 5lbs of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere by taking not even a full second to move my hand two inches to the power button of my computer to shut it off when I am not using it. This change had nothing to do with my lifestyle and didn't take any time out of my day, yet made a notable difference in just a few days. I hope others will examine the details of their lives as well to find the small changes that they are willing to make, and together we can all make a difference.

Over the course of the challenge I learned many simple ways I could help the environment that take such little time. This helped me become less lazy in some of my practices in daily life and helped me adopt some new activities and habits to help not only myself, but the world as well.

My last meal plan consisted of two gluten-free waffles and a bowl of Cheerios with almond milk for breakfast, a grilled chicken salad for lunch, and a pan-seared salmon filet with potatoes and brussel sprouts.

I realized that things that could easily be accomplished, like turning off the water when brushing my teeth, were harder due to habits that I had enquired over the many years. I found that I was having to remind myself a lot.
