Kelly Stevens 10/27/2017 1:43 PMI learned that it's really mindlessly easy to accept plastic bags. I failed a couple days because I just wasn't paying attention. Overall, I think I did a pretty decent job of rejecting offers for bags.-
Kelly Stevens 10/27/2017 1:44 PMI think the US could do better and follow suit and charge per bag like places in Europe are doing.

Penny Snider 10/25/2017 6:38 PMI've done really well avoiding refined sugar. It has also made me more aware of eating for no other reason than boredom. It is heading into the holiday season. I am going to try to keep up my Eco Challenges: avoid refined sugar, track my purchases, avoid disposables, exercise 30 minutes every day. And most importantly, be grateful every day and look for someone to send an appreciation email. -
Brian Bost 10/25/2017 6:26 PMUnavoidable to eat out every meal while traveling, but finding some vegetarian options, and restaurants using local ingredients to lessen the impact.-
Penny Snider 10/25/2017 6:48 PMDid you make more of a point to avoid fast food restaurants? We went out one day and I realized casual dining would have used real plates and silverware rather than the disposables. Hadn't really ever thought about it that way. :)
