This for me was about doing the best I can do for me. Sometimes I do better/more things for other people than I do for my self. I mean support worth causes, donated time and talent to worth organizations. I learned during this time you really need to invest in yourself first. WOW. If we would all take the time and efford we could do so much more for other because we are rested, at peace, health and focused.

Check out Netflix for documentaries on the Food Industry.   I have watched Forks Over Knives and discussed with some vegetarian friends. If we really explore all the vegetables available to us and all the spices that are out there, we may find that eating no meat or cutting back on meat may not be as difficult as we may first think.  When trying a substitute, don't expect the taste and texture to be exactly the same.  A peach and nectarine seem similar to me, but they are different.

We have a Keurig Machine at our office, unfortunately the Keurig pods are not recyclable or biodegradable. We purchased a reusable K-cup filter to reduce our plastic waste! :)

Yes, I'm usual guilty of eating processed food  - Why? you may say because I thought it was easier! I have found out that planning your meals makes a huge difference in your choices and adds to more to your down line. You are less likely to waste fresh food purchased in small qualities than boxed food that stays on the shelf for months. Going to the store/market weekly to see what your choices for the week are can be exciting. Learn to enjoy your food choices and in turn you will enjoy your life choices better.

I have been eating one meatless meal a day successfully, and am ready to go 1 dairy-less meal per day for a week. No cheese - Yikes!

I've challenged the other 3 banks (Citi, Pacific Continental, and Beneficial State) to try and beat the Comerica team on points per participant.  I still haven't heard back from them.  Maybe they are too intimidated by Comerica's EcoChallengers?  As you head into the weekend, don't forget to check-in and log your actions!

It's always a positive to let someone know they are appreciated.   It's totally a win-win situation.
