Shannon Tocchini 10/25/2017 12:40 PMFinal day thoughts... The biggest challenge for me was avoiding refined sugar. It's in everything, and it's also just a bad habit. I thoughtlessly screwed up a few times not thinking before I took a bite, but I did end up eating a lot more whole foods, fruits and veggies skipping meals (because convenience often has added sugar, time constraints for better choices, and poor planning on my part). And I read a mega-ton of labels. I did watch "In Defense of Food" last night - a book I'd read a while ago - and a great way to spend a couple hours. I could have used the simple, mindful pep talk in that show for the "no sugar challenge" earlier in this couple of weeks. Cheers! -
