Create Your Own Action
Choose Sustainable Materials
When buying new products, I will search for the sustainable option. This could include building materials, furniture, clothing, etc. Specifically, we're building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) and are choosing windows, doors, and other wood products that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Jennifer Reece 10/25/2017 2:02 PMWe're building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), so have chosen an energy efficient heater/AC, water heater, LED bulbs, low-flow shower head, etc. Also, we're getting used materials when possible from the Rebuilding center, such as wood flooring, sinks, hardware and are choosing the most sustainable options for windows, doors, and any other wood products, preferring wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). -
