We're building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), so have chosen an energy efficient heater/AC, water heater, LED bulbs, low-flow shower head, etc.  Also, we're getting used materials when possible from the Rebuilding center, such as wood flooring, sinks, hardware and are choosing the most sustainable options for windows, doors, and any other wood products, preferring wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
