Jeanette LaRondelle 10/11/2017 2:32 PMI had my boys watch Supersize Me as our food related documentary. They are only 5 and 8 but I think it sunk in and they are a little more aware of what the impact is of fast food, especially on personal health. We'll keep working in the environmental impact awareness. -
Jeanette LaRondelle 10/11/2017 2:28 PMChecked out seafoodwatch.org today and looked up recommendations for Salmon. It is fascinating to see all of the global resources/habitats for this species. They break down recommendations into three categories: best choice, good alternative, and avoid. You can click on each fish source and get a full report on how they quantitatively were evaluated and get a description of the potential concerns.
