Carey Compton 10/25/2017 12:47 PMLooking forward to putting all the sustainable challenges into more daily sustainable habits for the rest of the year until we come together again during the next 2018 Ecological Challenge to add even more. Thank you. -
Carey Compton 10/24/2017 6:31 PMWe have an electric mower and have planted more and more areas with drought resistant grass so I think that counts. I will also continue to plant more and minimize the lawn area the rest of the year until we are challenged again in 2018 in the Eco Challenge. Thank you for the fun in learning how to become more sustainable one habit at a time.

Carey Compton 10/16/2017 2:14 PMI am eating vegetarian for 3 meals plus snacks per day though.-
i q 10/23/2017 8:33 AMI couldnt figure out how to reply to your relpy so you'd see it so I'm doing it here.
Thanks for letting me know about what you learned at the recycling talk. I had no idea. I felt a little obvious carrying out that noisy paper bag this morning, but maybe that's a good thing. We all share a big recycling bin and when I looked in, I saw plastic bags at the bottom which made me wonder if the bin will get emptied.
I haven't yet figured out the trick to unfolding and opening a new one of those paper bags. Luckily no one can see the yoga poses I go through trying to get it fully open. I'm wondering if I'm supposed to lay it on the floor and crawl in and open it from the inside...
Have a great vegetarian day!
