I've been working from home for most of this challenge, and it feels like I'm constantly noticing that the light is on in another room. This ecochallenge has certainly helped me get into the habit of noticing this and taking action. It's small, but it's something I didn't even register before.

Catalog Choice was helpful, though a lot of the junk mail I receive isn't in the form of catalogs or magazines with an unsubscribe option. I'll need to dig deeper to cut that back. Still, two catalogs down--it's a start!

We got some great power-saving surge protectors for all the items we have to keep plugged in. So helpful!

Felt great about today and then realized I left a space heater on at the foot of my bed! Welp, trying again tomorrow. :)

EcoChallenge has helped me realize how often we leave lights on all around the house during the day. No need!

I get really cold in the fall and winter, and for the EcoChallenge I've started opening the shades more to warm up with sunlight instead of automatically turning up the heater.
