Juliann Madden 10/25/2017 6:46 AMWow! It's been a while since I've blogged. I spent the last weekend in the woods with no internet access and it was very refreshing! I went down to Waters, MI on Thursday afternoon and arrived at camp just after sunset, around 7:30. I set up my hammock and all of my other camping gear and went to sit by the fire with my family. We talked about my drive and how school was going and it was very relaxing. On Friday morning I woke up and got dressed and there was some work to be done around camp so I got out the leaf blower from the shed and cleaned up the yard. Later in the day, my step dad and I replaced the battery in my four-wheeler and got it running again. I moved the quad behind the shed until Saturday because there was still work to be done. On Saturday was when the rest of my family showed up and I took my two aunts on a four wheeler ride and then my uncle and a friend of the family went with me on the next ride. Saturday is usually the day we spend having fun and partying. It is always a good time camping and spending time with my family. I drove home Sunday morning and got home around 2pm, took my 5 minute shower to save water and did some homework. Then, I went outside to watch the sunset at Presque Isle. Monday morning I wokeup and went to class and ran some errand with a friend and then went on a hike at a new place that I am unsure the name of. Tuesday was a crazy day for Marquette!! It was the closest thing we could get to a hurricane in the Upper Peninsula. i went to the park by picnic rocks and watched Lake Superior Rage for about 10 minutes until I got too cold from the rain and the wind. NI have never seen something so crazy in person in my life! -

Juliann Madden 10/17/2017 5:21 PMToday I cleaned my room because I felt like my mind was cluttered. It helped me clear a space in my mind and also encouraged me to organize my thoughts and feelings. I went and watched the sunset to collect my feelings and reflect on my day. Then I listened to music to help me relax while doing my homework and I felt as if I had a productive but also relaxing day. -
