I noticed a few of the simplicity challenges have to do with supporting a sharing economy/de-cluttering your belongings/etc. so I wanted to mention Buy Nothing groups. You can find the particular group for your neighborhood on facebook - people post things they're looking to gift to others, and you can also ask for specific items. I've seen neighbors gifting everything from baby clothes to plants to canoes to beer their houseguests bought but they don't like. We got rid of our hot tub through Buy Nothing! So, if you're interested in giving/receiving free items with your neighbors, look for your neighborhood's BN group on facebook! It's a great way to save money too! :)
