Starting off the challenge strong by coordinating a trip to Goodwill to drop off a basket of items that have been sitting in the front hall for months now, riding my bike to and from work, listing three things I'm grateful for (which felt really soothing and meditative), and today (so far) I've only purchased food for my lunch.

I've selected three challenges this year, each with a different level of difficulty. I'm excited to promote my mental health and outlook by taking stock of the things I'm grateful for, and to clarify my living space (especially after moving!) by getting rid of the things I no longer need.

I'm curious to see how many times I will be tempted to buy something other than water/food/medication and I think I might keep a list of those temptations and/or the times that I slip up. I'm guessing that the hardest part will be just remembering that I have this goal for these two weeks...
