Walk by an empty Conference room with the light on, stop turn off the light!

This is it, the last day of the challenge. How did we do?

I've saved 48lbs of CO2 so far...not much, but not bad for only a few days

I will be volunteering 2 hours tomorrow, speaking with parent of youth who have committed a crime. My message will be of hope, courage and the importance of family involvement.

Full time composting starts on November 1st!  40% less material going to the landfill. #soexcited

Less than a week to go... It feels like it has just flown by.

Recycling is critically important but Reducing and Reusing have a greater impact! 

Checking in is much easier when your list is smaller. This is probably due to the "standard" eco challenges becoming so ubiquitous(to me) over the years that I do not see them as a burden at all.  

Reminder: Turn off your computer monitors when you leave for the day and especially the weekend. You'll save a surprising amount of energy.

We have purchased windows but they will be replaced when house is ready and windows have arrived.
