Ruby is the new Green Feed

BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I have been rockin' these 5min showers now! Today I finished showering before my 5min alarm went off. :)

I love how my new apartment complex has an area for recycling glass. It makes it so much easier to be green!

I haven't heard of it! Sounds like it's to help maintain a regular fitness schedule? Have you used it yet? I'm curious now :)

Mercedes, I used it yesterday and was really pleased with it! :D  You get to personalize it and specify how often you work out and the intensity and the days.  You can even choose the soundtrack from your iTunes library to play in the background.

This eco challenge really has been challenging and has caused me to gain more awareness of my impact.

You seriously need to check out this http://www.domegaia.com
They are building structures with foamed concrete.  And the coolest part is that they find  meone who needs a home/ building and then hold a workshop where the whole class learns hands on by working on that person's home.   They've had classes in different places in the world.  And this is a relatively inexpensive way to make a structure.  You can even plant plants on top if you wanted because water doesn't break it down.
