I mix tap water half and half with bottled sparkling water - saves gallons of public water.

While I did not buy this during the challenge I realized when I opened it from my pantry, there is still plastic in the wrapper and the lid! 

Enjoying being outside on these beautiful fall days!

My walking today inside air conditioned store.  Participating again in OHM no electricity use from 5 - 8 p.m., using battery-operated LED flashlight and candles when it gets dark, and reading by this artificial light.

Am tracking what I spend each day, very little out of pocket, only expenses so far....$12 for gas, a few lunches with friends and an out with the coffee guys.

With the super hot temperature today I am taking my walk inside the air conditioned big box stores.  Also participating today in PHM's two hours by not using electricity during that time.

Two Words: Trader Joe's.........Everything in the store is wrapped in plastic! I love the store and some of the things they carry, but wow, I need to find some of my favorites at another place. Did not do well this weekend when I went shopping there. 

Keep a separate bag each week for recyclable plastic items and take it down to recycle bin each week.

My daily shower is 5 minutes or less when it's not a day I'm washing my hair.

Since the start of this year’s Challenge I have not purchased even  the little snacks I might have at other times!!  It’s helped even with a little weight loss!
