HM.  I am just under 100 points for the week, maybe I should make a daily point goal and use this "feed" feature to get there too!
I am thinking I can do a daily reflection of each action I completed.  Today, due to time constraints, I was unable to use public transit as my primary route of travel.  I am interested in learning more about the Zip Car program available at SIUE.  I am a commuter student from Alton and it is a 20 mile trip to campus.  This semester, however, I am in all independent study courses, with weekly lab meetings.  The commute to campus on Monday took an extra 30 minutes each way, however, I did not have to pay attention to the road and was able to read a couple of chapters.  Perhaps next week, I will attempt to get SOS work done during the commute.  We have a busy year ahead.

Yes, you can earn points by sharing updates in your feed and by recruiting new members. **hint hint**

Wow!  What a busy week as #EcoChallenge is underway!  On the first day, three captains from our team tabled in Morris University Center and got at least 20 more people to sign up for our #SIUEGreenTeam.  Woohoo!  Only a few days in and we are doing well collectively.  Let's keep it going #SIUEGreenTeam and be the #GreenerSIU:  part of an intra-system competition with SIUC.

Getting a great start on the #EcoChallenge 2017.  Cleaned and composted some berries this morning.  Made biscuits and eggs for breakfast and used the Tervis 3 times.  I did cave and buy 1 bottle of cherry coke, but I am recycling it and donating the coke bucks to my daughters school.

Curious to find out so much more on the STL rideshare and Zip Cars that are available at our campus.  I could certainly cut down on expenses for simple maintenance of my own vehicle while also reducing emissions.

I am very excited.  Our campus offers Zip Cars and I am definitely interested in giving that a try.  I always offer rides to Edwardsville from Alton if I am going, but my required times to be on campus are so sporadic that only my car or the bus would work.

When I travel to larger cities, I always use the public transit systems and have had very little trouble getting around.

    My reusable mug story
I work at Quik Trip, a convenience store.  Although I am working toward achieving sustainability, maybe the two don't seem to fit well together, but maybe they do.

I use a reusable Tervis mug to enjoy water, lemon water,  coffee and more everyday.
