Choose Organic Ingredients
I will enjoy 1 meal(s) cooked with organic ingredients per day.
Nature
Practice Gratitude for Earth
I will spend 20 minute(s) per day outside, practicing gratitude (prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.) for Earth and the nature surrounding me.
Simplicity
De-Clutter My Home
I will de-clutter, clean, and donate or recycle unneeded items in my home.
Water
Brush My Teeth Without Running Water
I will save up to 8 gallons (30 L) of water each day by turning it off while brushing my teeth.
Food
Eat Meatless Meals
I will enjoy 1 meatless meal(s) per day.
Health
Happiness
I will write down three things every day for two weeks that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.
Food
Buy From a Farmers Market
I will purchase produce and meat from a local farmers market or food co-op.
Food

I will watch a documentary film about food with family and friends and talk about what we learned.

Dawn Wright 10/25/2017 6:21 PMI will definitely be continuing to work on my own challenge to be GMO FREE. I still have that feeling that if something wasn't created a certain way to begin with it shouldn't be altered. I just read about China successfully crossing genes of a rat and a pig to make leaner pork. I don't know about you but I say no thanks to GMO piggies! -
Dawn Wright 10/24/2017 8:31 PMKinda sad that this challenge is coming to a close. I have enjoyed it. I plan to try to continue with my daily challenges.-

Jennifer Nelson 10/25/2017 10:55 AMMe too! I never got around to baking bread, so I'm going to make that up later. My commuting and health challenges fit together nicely and I hope to continue them during a maintain-don't-gain challenge at the gym!

Dawn Wright 10/23/2017 10:51 PMReally love my new glass water bottle. I didn't realize what a difference glass would make with the taste. No chemical flavor. -

Dawn Wright 10/22/2017 8:27 PMI think one of the few things I enjoy about fall and winter is the squash from the farmers market. -
Dawn Wright 10/21/2017 3:44 PMGetting closer to being GMO FREE but So difficult. It would be great if we could get some regulations. I want to know exactly what I am eating. -

Dawn Wright 10/19/2017 9:27 AMGot my Eco friendly sandwich wrap. It's called bees wrap. It is made out of cotton dipped in bees wax. It's reusable up to 2 years or more. Once worn out you can cut it into strips and use as fire starter or compost it. It comes in various size sheets. Love to wrap cheese with it or use as a cover for bowls. It molds to the shape of the bowl with the heat of your hands. -
Dawn Wright 10/18/2017 2:25 PMSo difficult to eat all GMO FREE. Mayo is a big condiment in my household and it really is a pain to make because it doesn't keep long. I cringe knowing that Monsanto owns Best Foods and soybean oil is generally GMO.

Dawn Wright 10/18/2017 2:13 PMI'm thinking I might need to add another one time challenge. I think I have to visit the farmer market this weekend. I really hope they have something good like winter squash.
