Sydney Wilkinson 10/25/2017 10:30 PMI'm sad that this is the last day of the eco-challenge!! Some days were tougher than others, but overall I am glad that I was part of it. I will continue to try and do all of my challenges and incorporate them into my every day life. I think what I took away most from this challenge is to Live Simply! We live in a world where we are taught to consume, consume, and consume some more. I realized over these past two weeks that living that way does not truly make me happy. Appreciating the things I do have, eating home cooked meals, and loving my space and the people in it! That's where it is at yo! -
Sydney Wilkinson 10/24/2017 9:34 PMI completed one of my one-time challenges to explore a new trail by my house and I am so glad I did! Not only did it give me some much needed alone time outside but I found a great new spot. I dont necessarily live in the city but it is still nice to get away from some of the noise and soak in some vitamin D. It helped that the weather was beautiful today as well! -
Sydney Wilkinson 10/23/2017 8:24 PMSo I have saved about 96 gallons of water just by turning off the faucet while brushing my teeth! That's amazing! I am going to make an effort to use myself as an example and let my friends and family know how much water they could save if they did the same! -

By loving myself and having positive energy I feel like it is easier to get my message out and to have people listen. Loving the planet and living sustainably does so much for our environment and our community. Writing down three things that make me happy has been very refreshing and I encourage everyone to make this a daily habit! -

Sydney Wilkinson 10/13/2017 7:24 PMI thought that tracking my purchases would not be that difficult, and it isnt, but it does make me cringe a bit when I realize how much I consume on a day to day basis. Very eye-opening! My new goal is to go at least one day without purchasing anything! -
