    We've been doing the Challenge for several years now and I learn something new every year.  One of my pledges this year was to write down 3 things I'm thankful for each day or send a note of thanks or praise to someone.  This experience was personally very rewarding to me as it allowed me to focus on all the positive things in life.  It's a good habit and one I intend to keep.

    Last day of the Eco Challenge!  I'm very proud of my team's accomplishments in the past two weeks and have enjoyed reading my their posts. Way to B&D NYC The Big GREEN Apple!!! We are still the Eco Challenge Champions!

    On Saturday, took advantage of the beautiful weather and got some good exercise cleaning my yard and helping my boys decorate for Halloween.  Great fun!

    Got my sneakers and umbrella handy for the walk to the train station tonight.  Neither rain, sleet or snow . . . will keep me from my healthy daily walk!

    Stopped at the corner fruit stand on my way in this morning and purchased my extra fruit intake for the day.  Feels good to eat healthy!

    Had a nice walk to Penn Station yesterday.  The weather has been glorious in NYC - a nice Indian summer.  Loving it!

    I've been writing down 3 things I am grateful for each day and have come to realize how much I should be thankful for.  In addition, it has uplifted my positive outlook.

    • That's an awesome way to become more grateful Nadia. We have so much to be happy about, but it's too easy to focus on the negative. Congrats on developing a more positive outlook!

    I've been complimenting friends and family via email and telling them how much I appreciate them and have unintentionally started a chain so that all my recipients are now doing the same thing!  Small changes have a big impact.
