My final action today was to donate to Carbonfund.org as a way of purchasing a carbon offset for a flight I'll be taking in December. I've been thinking about doing this and participating in the EcoChallenge gave me the nudge to actually do it.  While carbon offsets are not a panacea, its better than doing nothing.  I wish that all airlines offered a carbon offset fee that you could choose when purchasing your ticket.

That is a very good idea! With all the other fees they tack on, I'm sure this one wouldn't increase the prices too much:)
