Jhana Valentine 10/20/2017 10:27 AMSpent 10 minutes outside last night appreciating and tending to my garden. So rewarding! I found that the arugula and a few other greens have shot up, enough so that I was able to make a delicious and fresh salad. -
Jhana Valentine 10/19/2017 11:14 AMEating an animal-free diet is hard! Only made it two days this time, but I like the idea of working toward a vegan work-week habit, where I avoid animal products in the day-to-day and only eat meat and dairy on special occasions. -

Jhana Valentine 10/17/2017 10:03 AMMonday was day 1 of trying out an animal free diet. Vegan alternatives abound! Made vegan banana bread and coconut milk soup, so I don't feel I'm lacking in tasty treats.... just have to get used to reading labels and turning down non-vegan food when offered (so hard!).-

At this point my body shakes at the thought of eating an animal product of any kind.
