Robin Straughan 10/18/2017 9:16 AMWe signed a contract to put local Solarworld solar panels on our house! Hooray! It won't be installed during the challenge as we have to wait for the equipment, prep work and installation schedule, but I'm counting this as a one-time challenge 'completed' for Installing Alternative Energy since we've committed to it and put money down.-

Robin Straughan 10/15/2017 10:49 AMYesterday I expanded my de-cluttering action to my garden. In addition to finishing harvest, we processed more than 6 gallons of grape juice that we will share with friends and family. We also ended the day with an evening bike ride to a friend's party, enjoying some fantastic fall weather (and sharing juice). -
Robin Straughan 10/12/2017 8:40 AMMy daily exercise goal has coincided with Biketober. It's been less than fun hopping on my bike in the last two dark and rainy mornings, but I'm always glad I do it. Having the right gear and bright lights makes biking fairly pleasant this time of year.-

Robin Straughan 10/12/2017 8:27 AMI'm off to a good start with daily de-cluttering. I'm enjoying going through drawers, cabinets and closets to find things I no longer need or use so I can donate them or recycle them.-
Bryan Robb 10/12/2017 8:43 AMAwesome. I did the #minsgame in May. On day 1, you get rid of 1 thing, on day 2, two things...for 30 days. At the end of the month you end up decluttering and getting rid of almost 500 things. The last week is tough!

Robin Straughan 10/11/2017 7:56 AMI'm glad to be able to try some new challenges this year - both daily and one-time. Yay!-
Robin Straughan 10/12/2017 8:19 AMI'm also doing the toxics audit, which will be great. Plus I'm doing a daily decluttering - I'll be working through closets, drawers and cabinets to weed out things I don't need so I can donate usable items and simplify things. -
Jennifer Nelson 10/11/2017 9:53 AMWhich are you most excited about? I'm pretty excited to commit to a daily walk, but I think the toxics audit of my home will have the most impact.

Robin Straughan 9/12/2017 10:55 AMI was excited to see the new features on the challenge website. Getting to mark the actions I already do feels great! And I enjoyed picking out different actions for a good challenge for this year.-
