Micaela Johnston 10/25/2017 4:57 PMHorray! Ecochallenge was great - kept me mindful and focused :)-
Missy Lucas 10/25/2017 5:08 PMGreat job! And of course, this is only the beginning -- we can each take what we've learned, and continue incorporating that focus and mindfulness in our lives for the long term 😇

Micaela Johnston 10/12/2017 11:15 PMToday I finally got onto this platform to do my challenges. I think I'm overdoing it a little, but hey, I'd rather be ambitious and aware of all my actions than completely unaware!
Living in California, we already have incentives to bring along reusable bags so I'm going to make sure I stick with it this week. Also no more frills and things for the rest of the challenge! This would include personal desires like coffee (goodbye Pumpkin Spice Lattes :( ) and switching to tea and items I have in the house. But I bought a latte from Starbucks today so STARTING TOMORROW!
The biggest challenge for me will probably be walking around, which sounds strange but in LA everyone drives EVERYWHERE. So we'll see how that goes...if it's more than 1 mile away, then I'll probably have to drive.
Anyway - looking forward to the experience continuing :)-
Missy Lucas 10/15/2017 9:57 AMWelcome to the EcoChallenge and to the team! 😄 People in Houston drive all the time too. @Margery Lucas, it really depends on the city and its infrastructure, which can either facilitate walking, biking, & taking public transportation OR discourage those things by large highways (impractical or even dangerous to walk/bike) and being generally spread out. -
