It was tough to go disposable-free while traveling, but I'm proud to say that I was able to avoid disposables all but one day while away from home!

One week down and I'm so proud of the PCC Eco Panthers! Over 14,000 points on just 7 days! Keep it up Panthers!

Unfortunately, I won't be checking in for my no disposables challenge today. I took my leftovers from dinner home in a disposable to-go box. It was a tough decision, but I didn't want to waste the food! Looking back, I should have packed a reusable to-go box with me, but I didn't bring one to San Antonio. 

Sadly, the AASHE conference had disposable silverware with lunch, but I had my handy reusable spork and towel with me! The plates with lunch were compostable, so while certainly less than ideal, at least they won't be sent to landfill. 

Spent this lovely fall day volunteering at my community garden, getting close to my five hours!

Day 3 and I'm going strong! PCC Sustainability sporks sure help me ditch the disposables!

Today I took my leftovers from lunch home in a reusable Preserve container and avoided social media all together! First day going strong and I'm feeling good about my eco challenges! 

Tomorrow's the day!! I'm prepping to avoid disposables for the next two weeks, planning my community service and looking forward to unplugging! Go Eco Panthers!!!
