    My challenge I chose is to not eat meat for two weeks. It has been harder than I  thought it would be, considering there is some sort of meat in almost everything in Whitney dining center. I don't really miss or crave red meat or beef that much, but I miss eating chicken and fish. It can be hard to put meals together without meat. I've found that eating less red meat makes me feel better however. It feels good to know I am not contributing to CO2 in the form of meat. I have been trying different vegetarian options, and am realizing that it can be done and its not that bad. Depending on how this goes for the rest of the challenge, I might reconsider my diet in general in terms of possibly becoming a vegetarian, or just eating less meat in general. I also took a challenge to explore a new area in nature, and I have been exploring different trails in the hixon forest. This is such a stress relief from school, it doesn't really feel like a challenge. I know I will continue to explore and appreciate nature past these two weeks.
