Roberta Richards 10/16/2017 8:26 PMMy garden still has lots of lush parsley, and I hated to just compost it, especially given my challenge to reduce food waste. So I made parsley pesto for the first time, and it's actually pretty good! I expected to have leftovers, but my family scarfed it all up. Good to know.-
Lin Harmon-Walker 10/16/2017 8:30 PMWhat a great idea! I'll try that next time I have extra parsley.

Roberta Richards 10/12/2017 7:32 PMI am definitely loving the commitment to spend time each day enjoying nature (the easiest of my challenges). I have the good fortune to live close to Mt. Tabor Park, and I thought I knew every inch of that park, but today I took a side trip through the park on my walk to work and found a new trail! -
Roberta Richards 10/11/2017 7:48 PMTo begin my challenge of reducing food waste, today for dinner we had a lovely stir fry of all sorts of miscellaneous items that were getting old. It was actually really good!-
Sherry Hall 10/12/2017 9:52 AMGood work! I find an egg scramble is another good place to put those refrigerator leftovers.
