Leslie Pohl-Kosbau 10/24/2017 7:37 AMThese reminders to conserve and to think in a conservation way are helpful and lead to considering how much my actions make a difference. Together, we can change the way human waste is managed. -

Leslie Pohl-Kosbau 10/23/2017 8:58 AMUsing the last of the vegetables from the garden for soups. Winter crops in the ground and producing are: arugula, scallions, lettuce(except eaten by the deer). Cover crop in a small area of crimson clover that I raised, harvested and planted in September. -

Leslie Pohl-Kosbau 10/19/2017 1:34 PMSo glad that the rain is back, saturating the ground, but the traffic is backed up, and our hillsides are in danger of sliding. we need more trees, not fewer. I am grateful for the two tall Douglas fir trees in the front yard. They give shelter and home to animals and birds, and catch the rain drops. -
Leslie Pohl-Kosbau 10/18/2017 2:33 PMDoing some water saving, now that it has been raining. Weeded and covered the garden path with woodchips, not bark. -
