Coral Musgrave 10/19/2017 4:56 AMChallenge kicked off as I was off for a week to Rhodes, Greece for some sun escaping British Autumn. The exercise commitment was easy as I walked every day especially when exploring Lindos and Rhodes town. As was the sleep - many afternoon naps when it was too hot to walk. Do what the Greeks do and rest in the afternoon. Needs v wants also easy - as only bought food - no souvenirs and no clothes. Did not record things I was grateful for. The locals so need rain for their olives, that they will harvest next week so felt guilty being grateful that the weather held for my holiday. However, I was grateful for the warmth of the local people, the sun on my face, the good food. For buses being on time, for arriving safely. Grateful that lack of wifi gave me time off from social media and that meant more meaningful conversations with my partner. I also read 4 books in one week. Grateful to have made time for that too.
