Jenna Miles 10/18/2017 6:36 PMAfter really thinking about everything going on in my life and what I could and could not handle doing with this busyness in my life right now, I decided the best suiting challenge for me that is definitely accomplishable is eating less meat. My friend is a vegetarian and always used to tell me about all the effects and impacts that cattle have on our environment and I would always just laugh at her, I loved red meat way to much. From being in this class, after all the readings, videos, and information, I was shocked at how much it really does effect our environment. After learning about this it also started to gross me out a little bit too, so it has been a little easier to not eat red meat. I also think it has motivated me, not exactly sure why, but to eat healthier in which I have been doing. I don't need all that protein anyways. I haven't specifically dedicated which meals I am cutting out meat or anything but trying to only have red meat once a week! I had started eating more seafood and chicken in which I really enjoy.
