    I visited the College for my french class today, learned some interesting things about agro-ecology! I might be able to make a better case for having roosters at my parents' house after learning that the roosters protect the hens from hawk predation.

    Got back from fall pause today, I'm thinking about stopping eating fish altogether now, not just for the challenge. I'm not sure how I would manage it when I go to Massachusetts to visit my grandmother though.

    I went to a farm and picked apples yesterday! Made a couple of apple pies and have a bunch of apples to bring back to Dickinson!

    October 12: finally dusted off my eco-tainer for lunch at the grab and go today! I'm thinking about getting a soup one too, but I'm not sure yet.
