Margery Lucas 10/25/2017 2:16 PMIt has been a great 2 weeks, reminding me of being more conscious in shopping, meal prep, etc. I did not get a chance to watch a documentary about food, but plan to do that in the near future. Writing down 3 things I am grateful for each day has been a rewarding new habit I plan to keep up. -

Missy Lucas 10/15/2017 6:23 PMHow about "In Defense of Food"? It's a documentary based on the book by Michael Pollan, the UC Berkeley professor who has written a bunch of famous books including The Omnivore's Dilemma.
It's on Netflix so should be accessible to many people. I saw it once but would love to watch it again and discuss!

Missy Lucas 10/12/2017 8:29 PMMe too! I have even heard of a variation where each time something makes you feel happy, you write it down on a small piece of paper, and put the paper in a jar. Bit by bit, the jar fills up, and at the end of the year -- or whenever you'd like -- you can open the jar and read back on so many little things that have brought light to your life. I haven't done that yet but I imagine it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling 😅
