Debbie Lloyd 10/25/2017 2:56 PMI ended up on the road much of this time and just recorded my activities. I did remember to take my bags for produce, bread, and bagels. Felt rather strange at first but then it was ok. I recorded gratitude (3 each) twice a day (morning and night). Made such a difference with my attitude in general. Very worthwhile! Decluttering was less successful but did eliminate some things. -
Debbie Lloyd 10/24/2017 7:50 PMI'm hoping I can record everything tomorrow. Have been on the road. -
Debbie Lloyd 10/16/2017 2:31 PMSo today I decided to buy my bagels at the Bagel Factory instead of at the grocery store. Brought my own bags. Had to cut them at home but no problem. Good thing the Bagel Factory is on my way home from the grocery store ! -
Debbie Lloyd 10/15/2017 12:02 PMI've been keeping a gratitude journal. I check in with it twice a day. Amazing how it has really given me a more positive view of life. -
Debbie Lloyd 10/13/2017 7:12 AMDay 3: So, it looks like my message today disappeared. Here it goes again. It's early but I've already written down my gratitude. I found a book called, "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing. Decluttering has begun but this book is next on my reading list. Adding Bagel Factory to my errands and bringing my own bag rather than getting them at the grocery store. -
Debbie Lloyd 10/12/2017 12:48 PMYes! Yes! Gratitude journal! My attached little orange bag! Composted plants on terrace! Yes!!! -
Debbie Lloyd 10/11/2017 10:56 AMSo excited! Today is Day 1 of the EcoChallenge... Gratitude recorded. Decluttering in progress. Bags waiting. I carry one with me at all times (attached to my purse). My challenge this year is to take my own bags to the bakery when I buy bread and bagels. I usually re-use my produce and grocery bags. Have fun everyone! -
Debbie Lloyd 10/05/2017 1:01 PMI'm looking forward to starting this challenge next week. Already have my bread and bagel bags. Using a gratitude journal. My water carbonator just became unsafe. Trying to find an ethical one to replace it. -
Debbie Lloyd 9/09/2017 1:56 PMSo, I just posted on Facebook encouraging my FB family and friends to join. Not sure if that results in any points. I'm looking forward to creating a de-cluttering strategy. Need to deal with home, storage, and garage. Little by little... day by day... it will happen! -
Debbie Lloyd 9/07/2017 2:05 PMI know my challenges sound easy and simple but I really want to have these things as part of my life. I already take my own bag BUT I want to take a bag to the bakery when I buy bread every week and go to the Bagel Factory with my own bag. I also want to use my produce bags rather than forget them when I go grocery shopping. Grateful, de-cluttering, and bags... I can do this!
