Kristen Lance 10/24/2017 9:56 AMDay 14 - Almost to the finish line! Not sure if I will continue doing 5 minute showers, but I have been enjoying writing down things I am grateful for every day. -
Kristen Lance 10/23/2017 7:50 PMDay 13 - I have abstained from seafood so far, but I must admit I did have some meat today. I do plan on having at least 1-2 meatless days per week once this challenge is over. Not thinking about going completely meatfree with Thanksgiving around the corner, 😂 -
Kristen Lance 10/22/2017 3:14 PMDay 12 - I am finding it easier to add to my gratitude list now. It’s nice to purposely focus on the positive. -
Kristen Lance 10/22/2017 3:11 PMDay 11 - no real updates. Still going strong. -
Kristen Lance 10/20/2017 11:52 PMDay 10 - 2 meatless meals, no seafood. Still taking quick showers. Added to my gratitude list. -
Kristen Lance 10/19/2017 8:42 PMDay 9 - Gratitude list is growing and it’s nice to have reminders of all the great things I have in my life right now. Still no meat or seafood. I had an awesome vegan dinner tonight.-
Paul Wolfe 10/19/2017 9:48 PMIt's pretty cool that you're going without seafood for the eco challenge! Oceans are being rapidly overfished and fish farms are really bad for the environment too : (
But if/when you start eating sushi and seafood again, the app this site recommends, Seafood Watch, is pretty awesome. It's like a field guide for a seafood menu, informing consumers which fish/shellfish are eco-friendly and which are not, so we can make an informed choice!

Kristen Lance 10/18/2017 8:43 PMDay 8 - Volunteered at the food bank tonight. All meals I had today were meatless. Can’t believe we are halfway through! -
Kristen Lance 10/17/2017 3:51 PMDay 7 - I can't believe it has been one week already! I think I will definitely be able to continue some of these new habits once the challenge is over. Also, finding it hard to limit social media to once per day.
