For those doing the "meals without waste" challenge, what is your definition of waste?  Chopping celery for soup today (yay for the coolm rainy weather!), and while the unused tops go into my freezer bag for later use in making broth/stock, the bottom ends are way too dirty for that, so they go into the compost pail for pick-up next trash day.  Is composting them close enough to no waste, or do you consider that waste?  (I mean, I could clean them up to go into the scrap bag for stock, but that would take way too much water for my preference.)

The EH Good Health Team's stair challenge is competing against my take a walk outside at lunch plan for checking off items from my daily list here...the dog is definitely happy for the extra walking at home, though!

Got together at a friend's house this weekend to press cider from his family's orchard.  Good, outdoor quality time, exercise, a lot of fun, and the start to a new brewing project!

Challenge is going well so far. It's good to have another push to get outside for a walk each day!
