My challenge was to explore one new hiking trail or park in my area. I picked this challenge because ever since I moved up to La Crosse I haven't done much outdoors other than going up to Grandad Bluff a few times. On Saturday I decided I would explore some of the trails in the local Hixon State Park. I checked out Miller Bluff Trail, as well as Oak Trail. It was nice to see and experience a different part of La Crosse I had never witnessed before. I am definitely going back to these trails I discovered as a part of this challenge.
