I try and focus on one sustainable thing I can do each day. And my husband and I have started talking about how we can do something in our community in terms of social issues each Thanksgiving instead of a giant meal. We have some great ideas so far! One thing we want to implement for our family as a Christmas tradition is to clean out coats, boots , clothes, toys and any "gear " we haven't used all year and get them into the hands that really need them.

I got discouraged last week but I am back on the challenge this week! This is for my son's future - keeping that perspective will help me do better each day!

It is satisfying to see how much of this my family already does!!! I didn't realize how much we have taken on in care for our world! I can add more things now :)
